As the Green Bay Packers' hopes of advancing in the playoffs were shattered with a 22-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Jordan Love faced the weight of a tough night, where he recorded 212 yards on 20 completions and a season-high three interceptions. Yet, in the wake of his struggles, Davante Adams made it clear that one game cannot define a player's career.

Talking about his former teammate on the "Up and Adams" podcast, the Jets wide receiver said on Tuesday:

“I still believe in him as a player. ... Obviously how the playoffs go. It’s more cutthroat and you don’t have much room to mess around as you do in the regular season. ... Not playing well and not getting the victory obviously is going to put you in a tough spot but like I said, I still believe in him.”

Jordan Love and Davante Adams played together on the Green Bay Packers for about two years. Adams was with the team from 2013 to 2021, and Love was drafted by the Packers in 2020. However, Adams was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022 before Love could fully become the starting quarterback.

Jordan Love's struggles in Packers' playoff loss

In the Wild Card game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Jordan Love's three interceptions and two missed field goals were a factor in his team's demise. Although the Packers' offense had a hard time, they tried to bounce back in the second half.

The Philadelphia Eagles took advantage of four turnovers, including a key fumble by the Packers that led to a quick touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts to Jahan Dotson.

The Green Bay Packers were still in the game at halftime, trailing by just 10 points. However, they couldn't bounce back. Love threw two interceptions in the second quarter, and Brandon McManus missed a field goal, which slowed down the offense.

The Packers tried to fight back, especially when Josh Jacobs broke through the Eagles’ defense for a 32-yard run, which set up a touchdown in the fourth quarter. However, they lost key players like Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs to injury, and the Eagles' defense shut them down.

Philadelphia came back with two field goals from Jake Elliott and won the Wild Card game with Jordan Love’s third interception. The Eagles qualified for the Divisional Round. Meanwhile, the Packers' season ended. Looking ahead, the Eagles will face the LA Rams in the next round.
