On Tuesday morning, Davante Adams made his weekly appearance on the "Up and Adams Show" and was asked by host Kay Adams, about the team's morale. He said that the team is still 'locked in' and that they are trying to finish the season the 'right way' and on a high note.

The veteran wide receiver also noted that he and his teammates are just playing for their pride at this point.

The New York Jets are coming off their bye week and despite not playing still made headlines with general manager Joe Douglas being dismissed. The Jets will host the Seattle Seahawks at home on Sunday afternoon.

Davante Adams doesn't regret trade to New York Jets

Davante Adams thought that a reunion with his former Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers would be beneficial for both. Rodgers needed a reliable, proven offensive target and Adams was in search of a new team.

That hasn't come to fruition and now the dismissal of head coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas has only put the team in limbo. Despite all of the turmoil, Adams doesn't regret the decision to join the Jets.

Last week, he told Kay Adams that he will never regret the decision and opportunity to play with Aaron Rodgers. He said that the veteran quarterback is proven and wasn't much of a gamble of a decision to him.

"We're talking about playing with Aaron Rodgers here, too. This isn't like taking some crazy gamble, going somewhere with some rookie that's unproven. Neither of us have played what we're capable of playing," Adams said.

It was revealed just this week that Aaron Rodgers has been dealing with injuries this season. Whether it has hindered his ability to find success this season is unknown. Whether he decides to play the 202 NFL season is also on the list of unknowns for the New York Jets this offseason.
