Deion Sanders is leading a fantastic rebuild of the Colorado Buffaloes football program. Since he took over, the program quickly changed from a 1-11 team to a 9-4 in the space of two years, with Sanders establishing one of the most notable college football teams in the country.
His success and his popularity in college football already has many football fans wondering whether he would make the switch to the pros. Sanders was a legendary NFL player, who made a name for himself in the '90s' and also won a Super Bowl with the Dallas Cowboys in a career that spanned over a decade.
Sanders, who coaches both of his sons, quarterback Shedeur and safety Shilo, spoke in an interview about what it would take for him to move to the NFL. And his answer was clear: he would have to coach both in the same team in the pros. NFL fans loved to see the answer:

"No one is even offering dude a job, so it’s easy to make that claim", said one fan.
"Went from would never do it to now there's a chance. He is definitely coaching in the NFL at some point", another noted.
"Shilo isn't good tho. That would hurt an NFL team more than help them. Because we know he'd be playing", a third said.
Why is it unlikely that Shedeur Sanders will end up with the Las Vegas Raiders?
With Las Vegas already eliminated from playoff contention, the Raiders won two of their last three games, and what seemed to be a sure-fire top 3 pick turned into the 6th overall pick.
The New York Giants, the Tennessee Titans and the Cleveland Browns will all pick before the Raiders, and they all have quarterback needs. Shedeur and Cam Ward are considered the top two prospects in the 2025 draft class.
There was a strong bond between the Colorado quarterback and Raiders owner Mark Davis. The Raiders are also one of the teams that most desperately need a quarterback to improve their roster after a down year with Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell, but it's unlikely that he'll be available outside the top 5.
