Derrick Henry's girlfriend Adrianna Rivas responded to Baltimore Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta's remarks about the star running back selecting the franchise as their next home amid rumors and links with the Dallas Cowboys and other teams.
As the team's 2024 season ended on Sunday in a thrilling game against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium, DeCosta made his thoughts about Henry clear, showing nothing but appreciation for the former Titans superstar.
"I'm just so grateful that Derrick chose us last year. I can honestly just say his attitude and the way that he played was amazing to watch," DeCosta said.
Rivas shared the post on her Instagram story on Wednesday, adding a response to the executive and the fans.

After eight seasons with the Tennessee Titans, Henry signed with the Ravens last year, exciting their fanbase with all the things he could do with Lamar Jackson. They were right about it, as Henry was a force to be reckoned with during his first season at M&T Bank Stadium.
He played the entire 17 games, carrying the ball 325 times (the third-most in his career) to tally 1,921 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns, the second-best mark of his career.
The Ravens came off a disappointing elimination against the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2023 AFC championship Game. Despite a rough start to the season, they started turning things around in Week 3, even dominating Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in Week 4.
Baltimore finished as the No. 3 seed in the AFC after securing the AFC North title. Once again, they were eliminated dramatically, this time by the Bills in a thrilling 27-25 game.
Ravens GM makes thoughts clear about Derrick Henry's future
After such a painful elimination, Derrick Henry and the Ravens must have unfinished business. That's why Eric DeCosta praised the back, noting that he proved doubters wrong with his remarkable season. More than that, he said the team will look at extending the 31-year-old's tenure with the franchise.
"I think he proved he had a lot left in the tank," DeCosta said. "We'll look at [the possibility of extending Henry]."
Derrick Henry was considered an MVP candidate earlier this season alongside fellow running back Saquon Barkley, which explains how well his partnership with the Ravens worked until his level decreased a little.
