Yes, the XFL got two new teams ahead of the 2023 season. The league is back for its third year after launching in 2001 and returning for a COVID-19-shortened 2020 season.
This 2023 season is the first under the ownership of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who purchased the league alongside a conglomerate of co-owners from initial founder, Vince McMahon of WWE fame.

Which are the XFL teams in 2023?
Eight teams will contest the 2023 season of the league, continuing the tradition that started in 2001 and continued in 2020.
Six of these eight teams are returning, notably the Arlington Renegades, Houston Roughnecks, Orlando Guardians, St. Louis BattleHawks, Seattle Dragons and DC Defenders. Two new teams will join the sextet: Vegas Vipers and San Antonio Brahmas.
The eight teams will be divided into South and North divisions. They will be split into four teams per division, with the top two qualifying for the postseason. There, the quartet will contest two semifinals for a place i the final, which will be played on May 13, 2023.

Among the eight, only Bob Stoops returns for his second spell in the league. He previously coached the Renegades in the 2020 iteration. Stoops will attempt to inspire the Renegades to the 2023 title, as he has more experience than all the other coaches.
