The Stefon Diggs era in Buffalo came to an end this offseason when the Bills traded the four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver to the Houston Texans. Veteran offensive tackle Dion Dawkins spoke about Diggs' exit on Fox Sports' 'The Herd,'
Dawkins said he was not happy watching Diggs go. He praised Diggs' qualities as a teammate and expressed his confidence in him to be successful, wherever he goes. [From 2:17 mark]
"Stef is probably one of the best teammates that I've had... We're gonna miss him. We love him. Brandon Beane has all those keys. We don't control any of that. I was sad to see him go, but I'm happy to see him smile. He's smiling and he'll be a great player wherever he goes and I'm just glad that we got to take a shot at it with Stef."
Diggs wears his emotions on his sleeve. One of the major criticisms of the receiver has been that he sometimes lets his emotions get the better of him. But Dawkins defended his former teammate and said that it's his passion for the game that oozes through.

"I think what the world mistakes for what they're calling drama is just the passion that he has for the sport. I don't expect anybody to be happy with losing ... it's an emotional sport. And Stef is an emotional guy for the things that he loves."
Stefon Diggs will get a fresh start with the Texans
Stefon Diggs will get a change of scenery this season for the Houston Texans, who are led by the up-and-coming C.J. Stroud. The Texans receiver room, with Tank Dell, Nico Collins and Diggs, has the potential to do a lot of damage this year.
Speaking at his first press conference as a Texan, Diggs said that it was a "breath of fresh air" to be in Houston and to have this opportunity.
Diggs has put up six consecutive 1000-yard seasons in the NFL. The Texans WR has recorded 9,995 receiving yards and 67 touchdowns, averaging 12.3 yards per catch in his nine-year NFL career.
Stefon Diggs will play on a one-year deal with the Houston Texans. The team wiped out the final three years of his contract, allowing him to hit the open market in 2025.
