Jerick McKinnon was a major part of the success that the Chiefs had last season, making it to the Super Bowl in February. The running back is currently a free agent and Kansas City hasn't re-signed him as of yet. He's currently in search of a new team.
The 30-year-old took to Twitter to express his frustration about being unsigned at this point in the offseason:

He was drafted by the Vikings in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft, playing the first four seasons of his career with Minnesota. In all, he rushed for 1,918 yards and seven touchdowns while having 142 receptions for 984 yards and five touchdowns for the franchise.
Next, Jerick McKinnon joined the San Francisco 49ers after his time with the Minnesota Vikings. He started four games for the 49ers in the 2020 season, rushing for 319 yards and five touchdowns.
Like with the Vikings, McKinnon was an asset in San Francisco's passing game with 33 receptions, 253 yards, and a touchdown. He was tied for fourth on the 49ers in receptions and in rushing yards that season. The running back joined the Kansas City Chiefs the following season as a free agent.
He was in 13 games for the Chiefs in the 2021 season, getting just 62 yards rushing and 107 yards receiving with a touchdown.
Jerick McKinnon's 2022 stats in review
Despite not starting a game for the Chiefs last season, Jerick McKinnon had an impact on the team's offense. The former Georgia Southern star rushed for 291 yards on 72 carries with a touchdown but saw much more action in the passing game. That has been his calling card throughout his career.
McKinnon finished third on the team in receptions (56), fourth in yards (512), and second in touchdowns with nine. The nine receiving touchdowns were tied for the sixth-most in the NFL in the 2022 season. He finished tied for 10th in yards per touch with 6.3 yards.
The question is will McKinnon sign with his fourth NFL team this offseason or will the Chiefs bring him back for the 2023 season?
