After the conclusion of Tom Brady's loss to the Dallas Cowboys, cameras, fans, and pundits watched as the quarterback made his way off the field for what could be the final time.
Since the end of the game on Monday (January 16), many have speculated about the quarterback's future. However, one Bucs reporter saw something that could give an additional clue about his future.
Speaking on the Rich Eisen Show, Bucs reporter Rick Stroud recalled watching the quarterback's interaction with his parents on the way to the tunnel and remarked about the significance of the event. Stroud said:
"We were down there when the game ended. I've never seen his mom and dad kind of go on to the, the playing surface or the field. Outside the tunnel there, as he was coming off on the turf side, he stopped and gave them a hug and a kiss. I've never seen them out there before."

He continued, claiming that Tom Brady's mother was on the edge of crying:
"And then on their way out of the stadium, his mom was choking back tears. And it just it struck me as, 'Do they know that maybe that's the last game he plays?' So there's just all this sort of mystery going on."
Buccaneers QB Tom Brady embarks on high-stakes offseason
The quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hasn't rushed into any decisions. As it stands, many expect him to have more than a few options for 2023. He can come back to play for what would be an age 46 season.
He also has a ten-year contract with FOX that he signed last offseason that starts as soon as he retires from the game. If Brady returns to the NFL, pundits expect the quarterback to have a number of options for teams that need a quarterback.
More than a few have connected him with the Las Vegas Raiders and their former offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. Either way, he has a bit of time to sort out his feelings, as free agency for all positions doesn't begin until March.
