It sounds more and more like Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will miss the Dolphins' season finale this Sunday against the New York Jets.

In a critical game this Sunday in the Dolphins' season finale with a playoff berth possibly on the line, Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel announced the news that the team is preparing to start Snoop Huntley for a second-straight game. ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter tweeted on Wednesday:

"Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel told reporters the team is preparing Snoop Huntley to start Sunday vs. Jets."

As a result of Tua being inactive again for a second-straight week with a hip injury he sustained in the team's Week 15 game against the Houston Texans, fans on X were quick to troll the Dolphins quarterback for being "fragile" and criticizing him for not being available for the Dolphins' most important game of the year.

Here's how fans reacted:

"They paid a glass QB 250 mill and today is the only day I’ll be sad about him not suiting up. We could pick 4-5 and now gonna be like 11 if we win," a fan said.
"I'm over this Tua narrative now. Time to cut lose. If he misses this game, he's played 10 games this season! You ain't winning nothing when QB1 misses so much game time every year......," one fan wrote.
"most important game of year of course he's not gonna be there Terrible contract at least put an injury clause for how many games he misses and he doesn't get paid but no threw the bank at him we are toast," a fan said.
"Love Tua as a player, teammate and human but I’m tired of QB1 missing games when it’s crunch time, wasting season after season doing this," another fan said.

More fans were disappointed with the fact that Tua will likely be inactive this Sunday. Fans also think Miami's chances at a playoff berth are less likely if Tua misses the game. Several voiced their lack of confidence in Miami beating the Jets on Sunday.

"Well I guess then Miami has already decided that Denver's going to beat Kansas City and make the playoffs. If the Chiefs win, the Dolphins can make the playoffs by beating the Jets so starting snoop makes absolutely no sense," a fan wrote.
"say goodbye to the playoffs," a fan said.
"It’s like they don’t even realize they still have a shot at the playoffs," a fan replied.
"What’s going on in Miami?" a fan questioned.

The Miami Dolphins and the Cincinnati Bengals both enter Week 18 with 8-8 records. They trail the Denver Broncos (9-7) for the final playoff berth. All three teams will be fighting for the final AFC wildcard seven seed.

For Miami to get in, they have to beat the New York Jets, and the Broncos have to lose to the Kansas City Chiefs. If the Broncos win, they earn the final wildcard spot. The Bengals get in if they defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday and if both the Broncos and Dolphins lose on Sunday.

If all three teams somehow lost, Denver would get the final spot with the best record among the three.

Who do you think will come out on top and earn the final seed in the AFC?
