Tyreek Hill, known by many for his blistering speed in Madden 23, poked fun at the video game on Saturday.
In response to a clip of former offensive line prospect Terron Armstead setting an all-time event offensive line record for the 40-yard-dash, the receiver called out Madden. Here's how he put it on Twitter:
"The way they got him built on Madden you wouldn’t think bro moving like this"

Armstead responded to the statement, calling him out in a joking manner. Hill, in turn, said the following:
"Bro I gave you a compliment "
The receiver insinuated that the game has him portrayed as being larger than a player who could run a 4.71 record at the NFL Combine. Armstead was drafted in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft and remains in the league today. The third-round prospect protected Drew Brees for most of the second half of his NFL career.
In 2022, the lineman joined the Miami Dolphins to protect Tua Tagovailoa. He started 13 games with the team. Overall, he's started 110 games in his career.
Madden 23 continues to draw ire from fans as video game crosses expected halfway mark to next iteration
The receiver's statement is only one of a barrage of complaints about the video game franchise. Over the years, complaints have only grown louder as the yearly franchise fails to improve at a clip fast enough to keep fans satisfied. Over the last couple of years, its biggest improvement has centered around the franchise mode.
However, other glaring issues still plague every match. Some of the most common complaints have centered around graphics and presentation. Brandin Gaudin and Charles Davis have served as the game's commentators since Madden 17 and numerous audio files from those games are still played after certain events in the most modern iteration.
Will the game overhaul its graphics as the franchise enters the prime of the Xbox Series X and PS5 generation or its long-standing commentary duo?
