Aaron Rodgers' epic family feud is again in the limelight, thanks to his soon-to-be-released biography, "Out of the Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers," by Ian O'Connor. The book has uncovered many secrets of Rodgers' broken family relationship.

Rodgers hadn't talked with his parents since the winter of 2014 when he was living with then-girlfriend Olivia Munn in Green Bay. The book highlights an incident when Rodgers' parents argued with Munn, which ended up being the reason they blamed her for the quarterback's bad ties with them.

Even though Rodgers has made it clear that she had nothing to do with his choices, the book highlights his parents' constant criticism of her. According to a report by the New York Post, Aaron Rodgers sent an email to his parents before breaking ties with them that read:

"Don’t attack the woman I love."

According to the publication, the email came after Olivia Munn's fight with Rodgers' family over attending the quarterback’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The actress allegedly shared her disinterest in attending the game with them or meeting them in the future.

The "X-Men" actress refused to make any comments on the situation, even for the book, according to the New York Post. However, Rodgers' father, Ed, said that he didn't exchange any bad words with Munn over the past argument:

“The only thing I said was, ‘You haven’t been on the scene very long. You’re just his girlfriend. We’re his parents.’"

Aaron Rodgers sides with Olivia Munn over parents' blame to fuel family feud

According to a People magazine report on Friday, Aaron Rodgers shared his take with Ian O'Connor on the family's blame on Olivia Munn for breaking the quarterback's relationship. Rodgers reportedly didn't expect the family issue to come into the mainstream.

“Aaron has never wanted to air this out in a public forum," People magazine's source said. "He’s going through great precautions not to make this worse. You’re not going to see him on 'Oprah' crying about all of this. He will deal with his family issues privately."

Although Aaron Rodgers reportedly hasn't met his parents for more than nine years, that's not the case. In his biography, Rodgers reveals breaking the streak of separation when he met his father in 2023 during a celebrity golf event.
