Drew Lock's wife Natalie drops 3-word reaction to QB's scintillating 309-yard, 5-TD performance vs Colts

Drew Lock had a field day during the team's penultimate game of the regular season. In the game against the Indianapolis Colts, the New York Giants lit up the scoreboard with 45 points, while the Colts put up 33. Lock played the best game of his career, recording five touchdowns.

However, fans were upset by the victory. Walking into the game, the Giants had the first overall pick in the NFL draft 2025. But they slipped to third place below the New England Patriots and the Tennessee Titans after today's victory. With one more game to go, the order may change, but Lock did jeopardize the team's chance of drafting a franchise QB.

Lock's wife, Natalie, however, was over the moon because of her husband's scintillating performance. The two had been dating since 2019 and got married last year. Besides securing five TDs, he also recorded 309 passing yards. She took to Instagram to celebrate her husband's achievements.

Drew Lock defends helping Giants win despite draft order skid

While speaking to reporters during the post-game presser, Drew Lock said that he was aware that the win against the Colts meant that the Giants had lost their coveted first pick in the NFL Draft of 2025.

"Who cares about the No. 1 pick!"ehe told reporters.

Despite the backlash, he was proud of the win which ended their 10-game losing streak. The Giants are now 3-13, but still the last team in the NFC East division.

"The fans deserved it, the locker room deserved it, everyone that is a part of this organization deserved it. We knew we had it in us," Drew Lock told reporters.

It remains to be seen if gaining confidence in Lock after Sunday’s game, the Giants will offer him a contract extension without which he will become a free agent in 2025. Some fans also said that that was the reason why he did not let the team tank.

He was going to be out anyway and didn’t care about the team’s future. His scoring five TDs during the game, however, has improved his resume which might make him an attractive option for teams on the hunt for a QB during the upcoming off season.
