Darius Slay is no stranger to bold tweets, but his latest one may have taken the cake. He recently tweeted:
No context has been provided yet, but he may have been referring to himself and his Philadelphia Eagles teammates, who posted one of the best pass defenses in 2022.
But speedster Tyreek Hill and others had something to say about it:

Slay sit this one out bro I’m not gone say much cause eagle fans already delusional
Even the Eagles themselves seemed astonished at Slay's tweet:
Even though they currently play in different conferences, Slay and Hill will tangle with each other when the Eagles and the Dolphins meet sometime this season. In the meantime, though, their feud is seemingly just getting started.
What is Darius Slay's contract situation?
Darius Slay ended his previous three-year contract at Super Bowl LVII. He later signed an extension in 2020, when he was traded from the Detroit Lions. The old contract was worth $50 million, with three-fifths ($30 million) of it guaranteed.
When free agency began, Slay and the Eagles were initially unable to agree to terms on a new deal, and the team looked all but certain to release the Pro Bowl cornerback, who even hinted at it:
But just a day later, the Eagles announced that they were keeping Slay after all, this time on a new three-year, $42 million deal with $23 million of it guaranteed. In typical Darius Slay fashion, he had big words regarding the extension:
