Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert made a strong statement about his availability against the Washington Commanders in Sunday's NFC Championship Game.
Despite missing two practice sessions this week with an ankle injury, the veteran shared his plans to take the field against the Commanders to try to reach the team's second Super Bowl in the last three years.
Reporter Jeff McLane shared that Goedert announced he's suiting up for Sunday's matchup despite this issue. Goedert racked up eight catches for 103 receiving yards and a touchdown in the last two games against the Green Bay Packers and LA Rams.

Dallas Goedert's injury update: What happened to Eagles star TE?
After a four-reception, 56-yard performance against the LA Rams under Philadelphia snow, Dallas Goedert missed Wednesday and Thursday's practice session with this ankle injury. He said he "felt great" ahead of this matchup between NFC East rivals.
Fortunately, he was a full participant in Friday's practice session, meaning he shouldn't have problems to suit up. A.J. Brown, Jalen Hurts, Lane Johnson, Quinyon Mitchell, Kenny Pickett, Josh Sweat and Byron Young were all full participants in today's practice while Britain Covey and Cam Jurgens were listed as questionable for Championship Sunday after being limited participants Friday.
Dallas Goedert wasn't the most active player during the regular season, only playing 10 games, catching 42 passes for 496 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders will clash for the third time this season
The Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders will see each other for the third time this campaign and whoever wins this matchup will win the head-to-head matchup. The first duel between them came in Week 11, with the Eagles beating Jayden Daniels and Co. by a final of 26-18 at Lincoln Financial Field.
Five weeks later, they visited Northwest Stadium where the Commanders took revenge with Daniels leading the squad to a dramatic win with a touchdown pass with six seconds left on the clock. A lot of water has gone under the bridge since that moment and both teams are more mature.
They know what's at stake on Sunday and Dallas Goedert, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown and others will try to bring their A-game. On the other side, Daniels, Terry McLaurin and more will be ready to take on the team that beat them to win the NFC East division title.
