Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Sirianni's coaching decisions were criticized heavily during Sunday's game, as the Eagles were down 3-0 to the New Orleans Saints heading into the third quarter.

Fans on X expressed their thoughts on Sirianni refusing to kick a field goal, especially with Jake Elliott's abilities as a kicker. One of those instances came late in the third quarter when the Eagles had a fourth-and-7 at the New Orleans 49-yard line; instead of attempting the field goal, they went for it. The Eagles once again failed to convert the fourth down attempt.

One fan felt Philadelphia should move on from Sirianni and hire legendary coach Bill Belichick. The latter isn't coaching in the NFL after being dismissed from the New England Patriots in January.

"Call Bill B," the fan tweeted.
"Worst coach in the NFL," another fan tweeted.
"Rough day at the office for Nick Sirianni and Kellen Moore," one fan tweeted.

Many fans believe that if Sirianni didn't call plays on offense or defense, he should have focused more on the overall operations of the game. The Eagles got on the board in the fourth quarter with a 65-yard touchdown run by running back Saquon Barkley. That likely won't change many opinions of Sirianni though for many fans.

"Fire Sirianni, Bring in Belichick," an unhappy fan tweeted.
"Eagles would be up 6-3 if they would kick the fg," one fan tweeted.

Nick Sirianni showed a Conor McGregor hype video ahead of Week 3

Nick Sirianni faced a lot of scrutiny after the 2023 NFL season. His team began the season 10-1 but finished it with an 11-6 record. After a 1-1 start to the 2024 NFL season, the coach decided to switch things up ahead of the Week 3 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

Sirianni chose to show his Philadelphia Eagles team a hype video during Saturday's meeting to enforce his 'attack' method against the New Orleans Saints. The video featured MMA star Conor McGregor and was based around adversity.

The Eagles lost to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2 after a win in Brazil over the Green Bay Packers in Week 1.
