Starting Wednesday morning, Los Angeles has been suffering from the Palisades wildfire caused by the Santa Ana wind which has destroyed more than 5000 acres of land so far. Moreover, according to KTLA, a "high number" of people have been injured, and around 1000 structures have been destroyed.
The ongoing calamity has left many around the NFL concerned, including Emily Mayfield, Claire Kittle, Alix Earle, and Kelly Stafford. On Wednesday, Baker Mayfield's wife Emily shared a note on her Instagram story, praying for the citizens of LA.
"Sending prayers to my friends, family & everyone in the LA area, being affected by these heartbreaking wildfires! Im praying for the residents, animals, first responders and everyone else being affected - that they may prioritize their safety & remember things are just things.. and I pray these fires slow down," Emily wrote.

Apart from Emily Mayfield, George Kittle's wife Claire and Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly also shared their reactions to the ongoing Pacific Palisades wildfire. Claire, via her Instagram story, said:
"Praying for everyone in LA, this is so awful."
"Really high winds today in LA. Praying for everyone's safety," Kelly Stafford said via Instagram.
Besides Claire, Emily, and Kelly, Miami Dolphins star Braxton Berrios' girlfriend Alix Earle also shared a note on her Instagram story. Sharing prayers and well-wishes with her fans, the SI model wrote:
"Praying for everyone right now in the fire. This is so heartbreaking. We lost power last night but are in a safe zone as of now. Please take precaution & let's all help one another at this time."
Jared Goff's wife Christen pens down emotional note as LA suffers 'devastating fires'
On Wednesday, Jared Goff's wife Christen took to her Instagram story to express her reaction to the ongoing fire in Los Angeles. Sharing a reel featuring a clip of the fire, Christen wrote:
"Just so terrifying thinking of everyone effected by these devasting fires across LA. So many places I've loved for my whole life gone forever. Friends losing their homes and displaced. Such a scary, helpless situation. Thinking of all the brave firemen and first responders working endlessly to keep people safe."
In addition to Christen Goff, Christian McCaffrey's wife, Olivia Culpo, also shared her well-wishes and prayers following a mass evacuation in LA.
