After the 2024 Paris Olympics, few expected the online feud between Noah Lyles and Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill. Following Lyles' comments about Super Bowl winners not being world champions, Hill responded by challenging the gold medalist.

The feud continued for a few days, with Lyles even forgetting Hill's name. In an interview with ESPN on Wednesday, Lyles once again addressed Hill's challenge to race him.

When asked if he took the challenge seriously, Lyles said:

"I mean, two scenarios are different, you know, one has to do with being a human right(on criticizing Hill's controversial arrest), and the other one has to do with sports. But, yeah, I mean, nobody should have to go through what you know, he went through, no matter the circumstances. You know. You know, we're all human beings, and we should be treated as such."

"But in terms of, you know, running a race, you know, look, man, you got to be serious. Everybody wants to jump up to the top right. Everybody wants to jump into the everybody wants to race the fastest man. I didn't grab this title, title because it's easy or because I went the easy route."

Hill, of course, is yet to respond to Noah Lyles' new comments.

When did the Tyreek Hill and Noah Lyles' beef start?

As mentioned, the whole ordeal began when Lyles said Super Bowl winners weren't world champions last year. Hill, on Kay Adams' show, responded by saying that he could easily beat Lyles.

Lyles responded by saying that he actually didn't remember Hill's name.

"What's the cheetah guy from football? Well, I can't remember his name. Mark! What's the football player who thinks he's fast name? Tyreek Hill," Lyles said.
“Tyreek is just chasing clout,” Lyles said on the Nightcap podcast with Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco. “The man — anytime somebody fast comes up, he says he wants to race them. If he really wanted to race people, he would’ve shown up, like DK Metcalf.”

The matter only escalated further with Hill saying he wanted a challenge to take place. Later, Lyles clapped back at Hill's challenge during a GQ interview.

As per Lyles, the NFL star should be the one to set everything up as he was the one to issue a challenge. Fans continued to cheer their favorite, many thinking Hill could beat Lyles if he had the proper training.
