A former Capitol police officer had a blunt message to Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker after he endorsed Donald Trump. Trump is running against Kamala Harris in the US presidential election.

Butker announced his endorsement last week, which wasn't too much of a surprise as he has been vocal on social media about his support of Trump.

"I’m supporting the president that’s going to be the most pro-life president, and I think Donald Trump is the most pro-life president," Butker said, via FOX news.
"That's a topic that is the most crucial topic for me. I want us to be fighting for the most vulnerable, fighting for the unborn, and that’s what we should prioritize."

Following Butker endorsing Trump, Harry Dunn fired back at the kicker.

"Shut up and kick," Dunn wrote on X.

Harrison Butker's controversial speech at Kansas college

In the offseason, Harrison Butker made some controversial remarks during his speech at Kansas’ Benedictine College.

“I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolical lies told to you,” Butker said, via Associated Press. "Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.
"I can tell you that my beautiful wife Isabelle would be the first to say that her life truly started when she started living her vocation as a wife and as a mother,” Butker added.

Butker claimed his wife embraces the title of being a homemaker. Butker was under fire for his comments, but he didn't walk back on it and even doubled down on his speech.

Harrison Butker signed a four-year, $25.6 million contract extension with $17.75 million guaranteed in March.

This season with the Chiefs, Butker has made 12 out of 14 field goals and 10 out of 11 extra-point attempts.
