Former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith doesn't think the Philadelphia Eagles will win a Super Bowl if Jalen Hurts continues playing the way he is.

Hurts threw for just 128 yards while rushing for 70 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' 28-22 win against the LA Rams on Sunday. The passing offense struggled when snow started to fall. Smith said on ESPN's "Get Up" on Tuesday:

"This passing game, we've seen it from this offense all year. It is conservative by nature, and Jalen is conservative with the football by nature. Listen, he's risk averse. He values the football, and that's been the formula for this offense.

"Watch their third down play calling. I mean, this team never throws it past the sticks. Trying to get to a fourth and one so we can tush, push. Only Daniel Jones and Gardner Minshew have a lower stick percentage than Jalen Hurts. That's a fact. ... Can they hoist the Lombardi doing this? I don't think so."

Despite Philadelphia having all the weapons on offense, Smith doesn't believe the Eagles can win the Super Bowl with the current passing offense.

Despite Smith's comments, the Eagles have the best odds of winning the Super Bowl at +180, which implies a 35.7% chance of hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.

Jalen Hurts discusses knee injury

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts suffered a knee injury on Sunday during the win over the Los Angeles Rams.

Hurts was able to finish the game, which is a good sign for his status against the Washington Commanders.

"Tough game, a challenging game," Hurts said when asked about his health after the 28-22 victory, via NFL.com. "I was able to finish the game. We'll see how the week goes."

The Eagles will host the Commanders on Sunday at 3 p.m. EST. Philadelphia is a 6-point favorite to defeat Washington and it's a matchup the Eagles wanted after losing to the Commanders in the regular season.

"The beautiful thing is they've got to go through Philly," Saquon Barkley said of the Commanders. "I remember after we lost to Washington, some of those guys were looking at us and saying that, 'We're going to see you again.' And here we are."

The winner of the Eagles-Commanders game will advance to the Super Bowl.
