Aaron Rodgers has received plenty of compliments in his time in the NFL. The former Packers quarterback has won a Super Bowl and has been credited as one of the best throwers of the football of all time.

However, the tone has changed against him this season as his New York Jets have gone down in flames. In turn, the Jets quarterback had his own review of the state of NFL analysis. Put simply, he was unimpressed and accused analysts of being critical just to stay in the spotlight.

"Get Up" NFL analyst Damien Woody, who spent more than a decade in the NFL, couldn't believe the take.

"Is this dude serious," the ex Jets guard posted on Twitter/X with a crying laughing emoji.

Here's what Rodgers had to say on the "Pat McAfee Show" this week.

“There’s a lot of people talking about the game now. Both non-former players and former players who are trying to stay relevant fame-wise. So the takes and the criticism are a lot different than they were maybe in the mid-2000s,” he said.
“Now it’s all talk shows and people whose opinions are so important now and they believe they’re the celebrities now, they’re the stars for just being able to talk about sports or give a take about sports, many of which are unfounded or asinine, as we all know. But that’s the environment we’re in now.”

Aaron Rodgers has taken steps to be the change he wishes to see in the world, dipping a toe into the media scene with weekly appearances on "The Pat McAfee Show" for millions per the New York Post.

The New York Jets quarterback's arrival had been teased for more than a year but the end result has been nothing short of disappointing. The Jets were floated as a Super Bowl contender in the offseason but are now closer to the No. 1 overall pick than being the last team standing.

Some have blamed the Jets' defense which hasn't been as stifling as advertised. Others have pointed to the firing of Robert Saleh a few games into the season. Aaron Rodgers believes the problem might be supernatural. The Jets quarterback echoed Garrett Wilson's claim that a "genie" caused the 3-10 run:

“I mean, it might be something like that. It might be some sort of curse we’ve got to snap as well.”

The Jets have not made the playoffs since the 2010 season.
