Ex-NFL MVP Cam Newton has nodded at the highlight-worthy celebration of Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young. The 23-year-old QB grabbed everyone's attention during the game against the Falcons on Sunday, in Week 18, for his unique Steph Curry celebration.

During the game, after passing the ball in the third quarter, he turned to signal a touchdown with full confidence before tight end Tommy Tremble could even catch it.

The video of Bryce Young went viral on the internet, and even the former NFL star Cam Newton reacted to it. He reshared the viral clip from the Carolina Panthers' X post on his account along with a message praising the QB. Newton wrote:

"thát īš ÑħT¥ wrk @_bryce_young thátš.ßØØG1Ė.ápprøvēd‼️-1ØVĖ🤟🏾"

Interestingly, the Week 18 game also turned in favor of the Panthers. They won it 44-38. It was their fifth win of the season, having previously won against Arizona in Week 16, the New York Giants in Week 10, New Orleans in Week 9 and the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3.

Steph Curry reacts to Bryce Young's viral celebration

Young's viral Steph Curry celebration has received wide acclaim from fans and NFL players. However, interestingly, it even reached Curry himself, and the NBA star also reacted to it.

The Carolina Panthers shared the video of Bryce Young's celebration on their Instagram profile with a caption saying:

"Panthers fan @stephcurry30 would be proud."

Curry reshared the post on his Instagram story with a one-word reply. He wrote:

"Confirmed."

Bryce Young had the best game of his career so far against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 18. He recorded five touchdowns, including three passing and two rushing. With that, he became only the third QB in the history of the team to have five TDs in a single game, joining the likes of Cam Newton and Steve Beuerlein.

Young also received appreciation for his Sunday performance against the Falcons from team coach Dave Canales. Speaking of the QB, Canales said (via ESPN):

"I'd say we'll take it week to week, but there are no more weeks. Bryce is our quarterback. I'm so proud of the way he just took the challenge and just grew every week.''

Although it was seemingly a good outing for Bryce Young, the team concluded the season with a disappointing overall result of 5-12. Speaking of his team's performance this season, Young said (via ESPN):

"Obviously, as a team, we're not where we want to be right now. It was a great day. It proves what we can do. We have to be consistent. We have to keep going. There's definitely work to do individually and as a team."

With his incredible performance, Young is now set to return as the QB for the Panthers in 2025.
