Ex-NFL QB Boomer Esiason reveals "biggest mover" behind Donald Trump's victory

NFL legend Boomer Esiason praised Elon Musk for Donald Trump’s presidential victory on the WFAN morning show program on Wednesday. According to the former Bengals quarterback, the Tesla owner played a pivotal role in Trump's campaign.

“The biggest mover in this whole (election) is Elon Musk and what he did with X,” Esiason said. “And if it wasn't for him, there's no way Donald Trump is sitting here today (as the winner).”

Boomer Esiason said he was impressed by Elon Musk’s advocacy for free speech.

“And if it wasn't for that, although some would say it's disinformation, a lot of it is accurate information, and Musk is a free speech advocate, and he wants people out there talking about uncomfortable things,” Esiason said. “This Elon Musk impact is enormous.”

Esiason believes Trump and Musk are the most popular figures on the planet, with X reportedly reaching over six billion interactions on Tuesday night. The massive number is significant for a platform that once struggled with revenue streams before Musk’s takeover. Now, X has become a primary source of information for mainstream media.

According to Esiason, the change in ownership at X allowed Musk to liberate the platform, which previously banned the former president for violating company policies. Musk not only restored the platform’s commitment to free speech but also brought back former President Trump.

Musk exposed the platform’s previous shortcomings by releasing the Twitter Files, revealing how the company attempted to censor certain viewpoints, allegedly influenced by government agencies and the Biden administration.

Reason why Boomer Esiason wants Donald Trump as president

Boomer Esiason has great hopes for the 47th president, especially with Elon Musk as the head of the Governmental Accountability Board.

“One of the things Trump promised was a Government Accountability Office, and he wants Elon Musk to run it," Esiason said. "And Elon's going to look at this bureaucracy.”

The office will be a new division which will look after government spending, Trump promised. Because of Musk’s work with X, Trump has a firm belief in him to be in charge of the division which aims to curb bureaucracy and wasteful spending.
