On Monday morning's episode of "The Facility," former NFL quarterback Chase Daniel said that he believes the Dallas Cowboys won't be able to work a comeback this season.

Daniel noted that Dak Prescott has eight interceptions as he is trying to force the football down the field because they can't run the ball efficiently.

"I think the Cowboys are finished. It's a rough look for the Cowboys. They're not playing well. They're really not doing anything well. And when I look at it, they have a good to borderline great roster. They are a bad team. They have not come together as a team, and they have not played well throughout the entire (Wait you say they have a good, borderline great roster) yes, name-wise.

"And the reason for Dak's regression. He's thrown eight interceptions this year. You cannot run the football. You're dead last in rushing yards per game. Brock Purdy had more rushing yards than the Dallas Cowboys had rushing yards. The quarterback on the other team was pocket passer. I think we all need to come to realization. They're just not a good team."-Chase Daniel on The Facility.

Chase Daniel doubled down on his thoughts and said that he doesn't believe the Dallas Cowboys' roster is good enough to get the job done.

Dak Prescott said the team is frustrated but not giving up

Quarterback Dak Prescott spoke to reporters following the Cowboys' 30-24 loss to the 49ers on Sunday night. The 31-year-old said that the team is very frustrated as a whole but they know the season is long and they can still turn things around.

Sunday's loss was another disappointing defeat for the team who signed quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb to lucrative contract extensions this offseason.

Owner Jerry Jones, though, failed to make any other impactful roster moves after his team lost in the Wild Card round last season. The decision to not improve the roster in other areas appears to be backfiring now.

The Cowboys have another tough test next week with a road trip to Atlanta to face the Falcons.
