Ezekiel Elliot has been dealing with a knee injury for the last few weeks of the 2022 NFL season. The Dallas Cowboys will be pleased that their star running back is active and ready to go for their Week 13 clash against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football. He's expected to resume his usual workload in the game.
Elliot will join Tony Pollard in the backfield and is expected to share the touches for the Cowboys offensive scheme in a nearly even split. Elliot should continue to see short-yardage work, goalline carries, and important blocking situations for quarterback Dak Prescott.
Pollard has been a specialist in creating explosive plays, including being an excellent contributor in the passing game.
