Last night, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs once again showed the world why they are arguably the best team in football. They came roaring back against the Los Angeles Chargers and defeated them in front of their home fans.
Mahomes led the Chiefs to a game-winning drive with less than two minutes on the clock. He and Travis Kelce connected to score the game-winning TD for the Chiefs.
After Mahomes' great performance against the Chargers, many believed that the Chiefs quarterback had wrapped up the MVP award. NFL analyst Marcus Whitman went on to say that Mahomes is the best-ever quarterback in the history of the game. Here's what he said:

Whether or not Patrick Mahomes is the best-ever quarterback to grace the game remains debatable. However, there is no denying that he is on his way to becoming an all-time great.
The Kansas City Chiefs look primed to make their fourth straight AFC Championship Game. It will be interesting to see if they will be able to make it to their third Super Bowl in four years.
The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Los Angeles Rams next week. Considering the form of both teams, it looks like the Chiefs will be able to secure their ninth win of the season next week.
Is Patrick Mahomes on his way to winning the second MVP award of his career?

Patrick Mahomes has been exceptional this season. Many had thought that the Chiefs and Mahomes would deteriorate following the departure of star receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins.
But that hasn't been the case, as Mahomes has been able to distribute the ball to everyone on the field. As seen last night, the Chiefs were without Juju Smith-Schuster and Mecole Hardman and were still able to defeat the Chargers.
So far this season, Mahomes has a passer rating of 107.3 with 3,265 yards, 28 touchdowns, and seven interceptions in 10 games. If he continues to play like this and the Chiefs are able to secure the top seed in the AFC, it will be hard for anyone else to surpass him in the MVP voting.
