“LeBron probably forgot he’s divorced” - Fans clown Tom Brady over viral interaction with Lakers superstar and his wife Savannah

LeBron James and Tom Brady, two legends from two of the top sports in the United States, had a brief exchange at the Paris Olympics. James, participating in USA basketball, was caught on video having an interaction with Brady at a party in France.

In the video, uploaded by NBC Sports on August 5, the mics picked up Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James saying:

"Couldn't do it without her. (speaking of his wife's support)"

Some fans believe the comment was a joke and an intentional shot at Brady's divorce from Gisele Bundchen in 2022.

"Funniest part is LeBron probably forgot he's recently divorced lmfaoo but if he didn't that's just DIABOLICAL," one fan said.

"Saying this to a man who is recently divorced is nasty lmfaoooooooo," another fan said.

"Tom was like don’t remind me," one fan said.

While many fans jumped in on laughing at the potential accidental diss, some responded negatively against James.

"Rubbing his successful marriage in the divorced man’s face is just cruel," another fan said.

"Lowkey Bron is like u have more rings then me so I have to get you one time," one fan said.

"Why does every care about Tom's divorce but tom? Yall keep bringing this divorce up like this man can't go find another wife? Evidently he didn't care that's why he kept playing football," another fan said, defending Tom Brady.

This fall marks two years since the couple split. Since then, Brady has repeatedly been the butt of jokes on social media on the subject. At the Roast of Tom Brady, the quarterback saw many jokes about his divorce delivered to his face.

Kevin Hart made jokes about the reports stating that Bundchen had allegedly cheated on the quarterback with a martial arts instructor.

"Eight karate classes per day?" Hart joked, going on to claim that Brady should have seen it coming as a tactician mastermind at quarterback.

Nikki Glaser also joked about Brady's family fallout at the event.

"Tom hates fat. Do you know about his diet program? It is so strict, but if you follow it exactly as he does, you too can lose ... your family," she said.

With Brady returning to the spotlight via the commentator booth at FOX, fans will have more opportunities than ever to see the quarterback. As such, the New England Patriots quarterback is set to grant fans more opportunities to hurl jokes at him.
