Buffalo Bills rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman has gotten a lot of attention this offseason. Whether it's shining in practice, making a funny comment, or giving his take on debates, Coleman is often the center of attention.

When Coleman was asked which NBA player he'd choose between Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, he gave an interesting answer.

"Bron got gifted with it," Coleman said, via SportsCenter. "Kobe was nothing crazy with no 50' vert. He was no super fast player. But he worked for everything he got. And I just respect the work and the love that he had for the game."

Fans were quick to flame Coleman, who seems to have a biased take on the debate. While Coleman said that LeBron was gifted physically, he failed to mention that Kobe was also gifted physically (maybe not as much). But he also didn't mention that Kobe grew up around a father who was in the NBA.

Here's how fans reacted:

"Being 6’6 = gifted Having a dad in the NBA and watching him play overseas at 6 years old = gifted This narrative is so f**king corny man," one fan said.
"I get having your favourites but this is verging on nastiness.Kobe was 6’6 with a 6’11 wingspan, 40 inch vert, hardly at an athletic disadvantage.. also grew up in NBA circles with a Dad who had an 8 year NBA career. Not even the myth of Tupac has gotten this outrageous," another person wrote.
"Holy casual…I guess being born to an NBA dad provided no advantages over being born to a single mother while being homeless at times during his childhood… Bron sure had it easy.. This fan fiction has gotten out of hand…," another person wrote.

While both LeBron James and Kobe Bryant are all-time greats of basketball, opinions will always be subjective. There is no concrete proof of who is the better player, they are both greats.

Some more LeBron and NBA fans roasted Keon Coleman for his take:

"Why do so many people act like Kobe wasn't a world class athlete?" one fan questioned.
"So does he not know Kobe grew up a millionaire, his dad was a professional NBA and Euro basketball player with access to top of the line training, facilities, and equipment, and to top it off he threatened to go play in Italy if he didn’t get traded to the Lakers?" another fan questioned.
"Bron got gifted with it? lol Kobe dad was in the nba.. wtf..," one fan wrote.

Keon Coleman not pressured by replacing Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis

Keon Coleman was the first pick of the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Bills had a big hole at wide receiver, especially after losing Stefon Digs (via trade) and Gabe Davis (free agent) in the offseason. Coleman knows there's some pressure heading into the 2024 season, as he will likely be quarterback Josh Allen's main target.

Coleman said that he's not phased by the pressure heading into the season and that he is different from Davis and Diggs.

"I’m not Gabe, I’m not Stef, I’m just Keon. We got a lot of other guys that definitely complement my game and we complement each other’s games, along with Josh, to make things work,” Coleman said, via CBS Sports.

Keon Coleman is a 6-foot-4, 215-pound deep-threat wide receiver. In his three seasons playing college football, Coleman racked up 115 receptions for 1,506 yards and nine touchdowns.

He is part of a wide receiver group that includes Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Chase Claypool and Mack Hollins.
