Brian Flores and Jared Goff are both still relatively new to the NFC North. However, as members of two divisional rival teams, the two have played against each other three times in short order. With the fourth tilt upcoming, Flores has three games of data to analyze.

Speaking on Thursday's edition of "Get Up," current NFL analyst and former Lions QB Dan Orlovsky pushed Flores to use the data to come to the correct conclusion (03:48):

"The question is, like, will Brian Flores blitz. When Brian Flores blitzes Jared Goff, in the three games that he's done it, [Goff has] it's a 77% completion percentage and they've scored 30 points in all three games.

"So that'll be the interesting thing. Has Flores changed the way that he approaches games and maybe not pressure him so much, because when he does, Jared Goff and the Lions offense eats him up."

Jared Goff has elevated himself to a point in his career where analysts are cautioning defensive coordinators from blitzing him. When most quarterbacks arrive, coordinators are usually encouraged to send pressure and from different angles to confuse the quarterback.

However, once they learn where they can throw against the man-to-man or loose zone coverage, blitzing is a death sentence for defenses. Having another breakout year, Goff appears to have elevated into giving coordinators reason to be extra careful with their play selection.

At this point, Goff has reached levels of success with two different franchises most quarterbacks never do. Those who do get the opportunity to play in a conference championship game for two different teams need to wait until near the end of their careers to reach the run with the second team.

Amon-Ra St. Brown's quarterback, however, has accomplished the feat before the age of 31 with potentially still another decade to play. That said, one feat he struggled with despite his success with the Lions was his career-best record for touchdowns in a season.

Goff's record was set with the Los Angeles Rams in 2018 with 32 touchdown passes.

This year, Goff has thrown for 36 touchdowns, setting a career-best mark with still one more game to play. As such, the quarterback is in range of his first 40-touchdown season.

With everything to play for and the top-seed in the NFC on the line, will the Detroit Lions quarterback lock up home-field advantage in the last regular-season game of the season?
