However, according to one NFL analyst, the team underestimated the Houston Texans team and it could have cost them. Chris Simms, speaking on Sunday Night Football Final, felt the team was sleepwalking through the game:
"Dallas, I felt like they were a little asleep at the wheel. You know you're going to beat the Houston Texans. Made some mistakes. Definitely. We just talked about it. Dak Prescott threw two pretty bad interceptions. They dropped a punt return that set up a short-field touchdown for the Texans."
