The Dallas Cowboys emerged from their game against the Indianapolis Colts as gods. However, just one week later, the team was on the verge of losing to the one-win Texans, who required a near-miracle late. However, according to one NFL analyst, the team underestimated the Houston Texans team and it could have cost them. Chris Simms, speaking on Sunday Night Football Final, felt the team was sleepwalking through the game:
"Dallas, I felt like they were a little asleep at the wheel. You know you're going to beat the Houston Texans. Made some mistakes. Definitely. We just talked about it. Dak Prescott threw two pretty bad interceptions. They dropped a punt return that set up a short-field touchdown for the Texans."
The Dallas Cowboys entered the fourth quarter down 23-17. The Texans had a shot to put the game away late with a late touchdown but came up short. Dallas rallied late in the game to put together a long touchdown drive in the final minutes.

In the game, Dak Prescott threw for one touchdown and two interceptions. For most of the game, Ezekiel Elliot was kept on the sidelines and Tony Pollard took the bulk of the snaps. However, when it was do-or-die, Elliot got the ball multiple times and eventually broke through for his first score of the game.
What is the record of the Dallas Cowboys?
At 10-3, the Cowboys currently have the fifth seed in the NFC. If they win, they'll coast to the playoffs. However, the team has their eyes set on winning the division over the rival Eagles. The Eagles, who currently sit at 12-1, currently have the number one seed in the NFC.
The Cowboys will need to win out and get some help from the Eagles. The two teams have a game on Christmas Eve that could prove to be pivotal. Will Dak Prescott, after trailing Jalen Hurts for the entire year put together a comeback over the final month of the season?
