Former New England Patriots running back Quentin Hines received criticism for featuring a stripper at a high school event in the Detroit area. The former NFL player is the CEO of minor league organization Rivals Professional Football League.
The organization hosted an event at Mount Clemens High School, where a scantily clad woman performed a highly sexualized dance.

Hines claimed that the dancer wasn't a stripper but ended up disrobing herself.

“I don’t think she was a stripper. She was one of her dancers that was underdressed, and it’s unfortunate. I did not know that someone would come that underdressed to dance with him.”
The school did not sponsor the event in question and no students were present. The event was originally set to take place at a stadium in Pontiac, Michigan, but was moved to the high school auditorium. Superintendent Monique Beels banned Hines’ organization from using the school facilities again.
She also elaborated on the circumstances that led to the incident, saying:
“There have been no prior issues of inappropriateness when this organization rented from our district in the past. There was no reason to believe the activities that took place at the event on October 15, 2022, would take place in our gym.”
Beels added that the school board was not happy:
“The Mount Clemens Community School's Board of Education and Administration are deeply shocked, disappointed, and disgusted by the inappropriate events that took place.”
For his part, Quentin Hines apologized for the incident.
Quentin Hines’ NFL stint with the New England Patriots
Former running back Quentin Hines played college football at Akron, and the New England Patriots rostered him during the 2013-14 NFL season. He does not have any official stats as the team placed him on injured reserve throughout the season.
The Seattle Seahawks won the 2013-14 Super Bowl against the Denver Broncos. The Broncos had previously dispatched the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.
This meant that Hines came extremely close to a Super Bowl ring. Nonetheless, even if Hines had won the ring in question, it wouldn't have been an accurate reflection of his NFL career accolades as there's not much else to say about his stint in the league.
