Amid a turbulent season for the New York Giants, rookie WR Malik Nabers surpassed 1,000 receiving yards during Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Now, fans are already looking ahead.
"GET HIM A QB," wrote one fan hoping that the New York Giants will secure a top QB in the 2025 NFL Draft.
That said, projected top-5 pick, Colorado Buffaloes star, Shedeur Sanders is the name on everyone’s lips.

"A bright star in a rough season. Can’t wait to watch your career!!!!!" reacted another fan.
A third fan noted, "Now get him someone who can throw to him and he will get 2000 yards."
More NFL fans weighed in with their opinions.
In the first quarter, Malik Nabers' big moment happened when he turned a routine screen pass into a 31-yard TD and put the Giants ahead 7-3.
Malik Nabers joins roster of rookie sensations
Now, with 1,000 receiving yards, Malik Nabers' name is in the record books alongside other rookies like Chargers' Ladd McConkey and his former LSU teammate, Jaguars' Brian Thomas Jr.
While the New York Giants’ losing record casts a shadow over the season, Malik Nabers has been a rare bright spot with his consistent performance, which includes 100 receptions and just one sub-50-yard game.
Additionally, the Giants rookie RB Tyrone Tracy also crossed the 1,000-yard (from scrimmage) mark during the same game.
This makes Nabers and Tracy only the second rookie duo since 1970 to reach 1,000 total yards each —Saints' Marques Colston and Reggie Bush did it in 2006. Quite a positive sign for the New York Giants' future.
That said, New York’s playoff dreams will have to wait yet another year because they are out. Even if they win their final two games against the Colts and Eagles, nothing could secure their place in the postseason.
Sitting at 2-13, the Giants hold the inside track to the coveted No. 1 overall pick. However, that top spot is anything but straightforward.
Five other teams, all with three wins, are close behind.
Complicating matters is the NFL’s first draft tiebreaker, strength of schedule (SOS). The Giants' SOS of .556 is one of the highest in the league.
