The Baltimore Ravens are no closer to getting Lamar Jackson signed to a long-term deal, but that isn't stopping the franchise from trying to sign offensive talent like Odell Beckham Jr.
Per Dov Kleiman via ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Ravens have reportedly offered Beckham Jr. a contract. Exactly what the finer details of that contract are currently are unknown, but Jackson's contract situation doesn't seem to be hampering their efforts in signing a star receiver.
One NFL fan reacted to the news and said that the Ravens would get Beckham Jr., but lose Jackson.

It appears that most fans aren't sure that Beckham Jr. possibly going to the Ravens is the right move, especially given the uncertainty surrounding Jackson's contract status.

When looking at how one-dimensional the Ravens' passing game was last year, adding another weapon for which every quarterback starts is good business.
While the contract details are unknown, should Beckham Jr. sign with the Ravens, then he would significantly upgrade the receiver room. Andrews will get some much-needed help. As we approach the draft, the Ravens could even add another receiver in the first-round if they choose.
Andrews totaled 847 receiving yards last year, the next best being Demarcus Robinson, who finished the year with just 458. That is a big difference. With Beckham Jr., the Ravens will get some much-needed firepower.
Whether or not Beckham Jr. has gotten assurances from Baltimore that Jackson will be there in 2023 is unknown, but we can't imagine he would sign with a team that has the quarterback situation up in the air.
Baltimore needs more offensive help, and with Odell Beckham Jr., it goes some way to give Lamar Jackson or Tyler Huntley a star receiver to throw to.
The Ravens have offered a contract, and now we will wait and see if Odell Beckham Jr. signs that dotted line.
