After missing the first two games of the 2024 NFL season, wide receiver Tee Higgins is set to make his season debut against the Washington Commanders on Monday. The wideout had been dealing with a hamstring injury that kept him sidelined against the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs.

Senior NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that Higgins isn't on the Cincinnati Bengals' injury report for Monday, meaning he's fit to go against the Commanders as the Bengals try to get the season's first win.

Bengals fans were ecstatic to learn about this and quickly hyped up Higgins' imminent return to the field.

"Looks like Higgins is ready to make his mark—Monday night just got more exciting for Bengals fans!" another fan wrote.

Others speculated about Joe Burrow's reaction to this news and predicted how well Higgins and the Bengals would fare in this game and the rest of the season.

"Let’s go baby!! 15-2 #WhoDey," one fan said.

Higgins has recorded 3,684 yards on 257 receptions and 24 touchdowns in his career. Bengals fans hope this is the turning point of their season, or the playoff picture will look more complex.

Ahead of Tee Higgins' return, Joe Burrow explains why Bengals have started 0-2 for the third consecutive season

Speaking on "The Rich Eisen Show," Joe Burrow sent a soothing message to Bengals fans, making it clear the players are still confident since this isn't their first time in this position.

"I think there's different factors every year. 0-2 for the third straight year, we're not panicking by any means. There's a lot of football to be played, but lots of room to improve at the same time, just like any game every year. So we're just looking to improve every day. Go out on Monday and have our best game yet, hopefully get a win, and then move on," Burrow said.

Cincinnati remains a dangerous team in the AFC, and Tee Higgins' return could be the start of a run.
