The New York Giants are looking to bounce back and quarterback Daniel Jones' health will be a big determination of their success. The quarterback tore his ACL last season and has been rehabbing his knee ahead of training camp in just a few weeks.

This week, a video of Daniel Jones training at a local football field, was posted on the QB Country account on X. He appeared to be moving well on his surgically repaired knee and in good shape overall.

Fans were not only happy to see that Jones' knee wasn't hindering his training but, also noticed that he had been clearly working out and bulking up in his shoulders. The comment section had people referring to the New York Giants quarterback as being 'jacked':

Most fans remained optimistic that this was a good sign as the season quickly approaches, while some were still unsure how to feel. One fan said that every summer, clips similar to this one circulate and fans get their hopes up for no reason. If Jones' offseason training translates to the regular season, some fans will be a little bit more impressed.

"He looks jacked. He's moving fluidly. That being said, we see these clips every year. Until this translates to production, it's no different than combine drills. We move," stated one fan.
"Knee looks good and working on pocket movement. Love this!," stated one fan.
"Oh he moving good," one fan said after watching the video.

The average recovery time for a torn ACL injury ranges anywhere from six to nine months. Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season will be 10 months since the quarterback suffered the season-ending injury, which should have been enough time for him to recover.

"This year or never. Right behind you @Daniel_Jones10. #CPOY," another fan declared.
"Dimes looking jacked + leg sleeve = 30+ TDs this year," one fan predicted.
"Bro looks like he’s in good shape like shoulders looking bigger," one fan expressed.

Tiki Barber expressed concerns over Daniel Jones' availability for Week 1

Daniel Jones appears to be in good shape to start Week 1 of the 2024 NFL regular season. However, there are still some who doubt the quarterback will be ready, one being former New York Giants legend, Tiki Barber.

This week on WFAN, Barber expressed his doubts to co-host Evan Roberts. He even referenced Giants general manager Joe Schoen, who expressed his concerns for Danie Jones' return during "Hard Knocks."

“I’m still worried that Daniel Jones might not be ready for the start of the regular season," Barber said. "Joe Schoen said it out loud [on Hard Knocks]; ‘What if our quarterback isn’t ready for the start of the season?’"

Barber then said that he saw Daniel Jones on the practice field recently and that he did look good. He also said that once Jones puts the pads on in training camp, will be the real test.

“I saw Daniel a couple weeks ago…he looked great. Big, strong, strapping, running around, always working out. He looked good. But looking good in no pads is different than being on a football field and being aggressively pursued by defenders.”

Barber then continued by saying that while he hopes Daniel Jones is ready, he's not convinced:

“I hope he’s ready. But in my mind, I can’t help but think that he might not be.”

The New York Giants will open the 2024 NFL season at home against the Minnesota Vikings.
