"The way the girlies are having a better season than the boys, not surprised," a fan tweeted, indicating the Cowboys Cheerleaders, dubbed “the girlies,” are having a more successful season compared to the team itself, standing at 3–6.
"Welcome welcome.. season 1 was wonderful.. expecting the same from Season 2," a fan tweeted.
"Get ready for more spirit, sparkle, and sass!" Another fan tweeted.

The TV show "America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders" is considered the next chapter to "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team," from 2006 to 2021.

Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders' salary is similar to a "substitute teacher": DCC alum

NFL cheerleading is seen as a candy-coated pastime. However, Netflix’s "America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders" S2 will pull back the curtain and show the real work behind those iconic blue-and-white uniforms, from auditions to high-energy training camps.

That said, DCC cheerleaders earn around $400 per game (hourly wages for practice and appearances) per Entertainment Online. So much so that most girlies have to work two jobs to keep up with the monthly expenditure.

For instance, Reece Allman, who appeared in Season 1 and will be back for the 2025 segment, balances the DCC cheerleading job with working at a Dallas florist. It is simply because the money earned from cheerleading isn't sufficient to earn a wage.

"I would say I'm making, like, a substitute teacher [salary] ... I would say I'm making, like, Chick-fil-A worker that works full-time money," Katherine Puryear, a DCC alum, said.

According to an ESPN report, NFL team cheerleaders previously earned between $75 and $150 per game. Therefore, things have changed for the better.
