Green Bay fans won over by Donald Trump's praise of Packers: "Another reason for me to vote"

Former US President Donald Trump seems to have secured a few votes from Green Bay Packers fans for the upcoming elections. Following the Republican National Convention on Thursday, Trump delivered a bold prediction for the NFL team.

As per Trump, the Packers are going to be looking at a good 2024 campaign. Struggling a little after Aaron Rodgers' departure, team fans are looking forward to any luck that comes their way.

"And Green Bay is gonna have a good team this year, right? They’re gonna have a good team. They’re gonna have a good team. Most of the audience doesn't like it, but it's true. You're going to have a very good team this year," Trump said.

He even added a special shoutout to the people of Wisconsin:

"A very special thank you for the extraordinary people of Milwaukee."

Of course, some Green Bay Packers fans are ready to cast their vote in Trump's favor over the prediction.

"Another reason for me to vote Trump! #GoPackGo," one fan wrote.

Many fans agreed with Trump, their votes swaying due to his comment about the Milwaukee team.

"Did he win my vote because of a packers opinion yes yes he did," another fan wrote.

"Hell yeah! He knows what's up!" a user said.

A few fans were convinced that the former President knew the game.

"Donald indeed knows ball," one user said.

"Is anyone really suprised he knows ball?" another fan added.

"Smartest thing he’s said in 20yrs," one fan joked.

Some fans, however, pointed out that this was only because he was in Milwaukee and wanted to appeal to the audience.

"Fam he woulda said the same about the Bears if this was in Chicago. lmao," a fan noted.

"He simply knows at what state he is currently speaking," another fan added.

Going 9-8 last season, the Packers will begin their season on September 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil.
