Hailee Steinfeld makes first official statement on 'magical' engagement day with Josh Allen

Almost a week after announcing her engagement with fiancée Josh Allen, Hailee Steinfeld made her first official statement on the quarterback's proposal. Steinfeld expressed how she had “tears” of happiness in her eyes when Allen went down on his knee to propose to her.

In the #017 issue of her “Beau Society” newsletter, Hailee Steinfeld reflected back on her engagement and revealed behind-the-scenes details of it. Opening up about the "most magical day" of her life, the Bumblebee actress said:

"I’m engaged!! All the happy tears have just barely dried. Whenever we tell the story, look back at photos, or even say ‘We’re engaged’ or ‘We’re getting married’ I start crying. While I can’t wait to tell you more about the day and things we’re planning, I’m not ready quite yet. I have to hold this close for a little while longer."

"But I’ll tell you that my fiancé(!) planned the most magical day of my life – and made the whole thing a complete surprise (not easy!). I’ve mentioned him a few times in past issues, but this week, I thought it would be fun to introduce you to my FIANCÉ, Mr. Josh Allen officially!" Steinfeld further added.

Moving forward in the newsletter, Hailee Steinfeld explained how Josh Allen has been highly supportive of "Beau Society." The Hollywood actress went ahead sharing a list of 17 "random" questions that she asked the Bills quarterback, with some of them related to the proposal.

Josh Allen revealed the "craziest" thing that happened on engagement

Josh Allen proposed to Hailee Steinfeld in a romantic yet intimate engagement ceremony. In Steinfeld's newsletter, the actress asked the Bills quarterback to share the "funniest/craziest" thing that happened on their engagement day. Answering his fiancée, Allen said:

"The funniest thing was that we woke up and were getting ready for brunch and you jumped on the bed and said 'Can we get married already?!? What are you waiting for??!' I replied, 'Just give me a little more time.' Little did you know I was about to propose to you…"

Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld's proposal took place in a romantic seaside setting, a glimpse of which the couple's florist recently shared. Apart from Steinfeld, Allen's ex-girlfriend Brittany Williams also made headlines for her CTE comment on the couple's engagement. Later, she revealed that her social media was hacked and it was a "lunatic hacker" who made those comments.
