Hayden Hurst, who played for the Cincinnati Bengals last season, has signed with the Carolina Panthers. After being a huge part of Joe Burrow-led offense, Hurst will hope to help the rebuilding Panthers.
Despite the Bengals failing to reach the Super Bowl, Hurst had a decent season. He had 52 catches for 414 yards and scored 2 touchdowns in 13 games last season, which earned him a great deal on the market in free agency.

Hayden Hurst's contract details:
As per Tom Pelissero, Hurst is signing a three-year deal worth up to $21.75 million. It includes $13M of guaranteed money, and the deal reflects his skillset.
This will be Hurst's fifth different team in the NFL as he has previously played for the likes of the Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta Falcons, and the Cincinnati Bengals.
So far in his career, he has played 68 games in which he has 177 catches for 1,718 yards and scored 14 touchdowns. He will be an exciting addition to a new-look offense for the Carolina Panthers, who are set to draft a new quarterback shortly.
Hayden Hurst will work with a rookie quarterback
The Carolina Panthers have possession of the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft after they traded a haul to acquire it from the Chicago Bears. Since the Panthers acquired that pick, Ohio State's C.J. Stroud has become the favorite to get drafted with the first overall pick, and he could very well end up in Carolina.
Stroud impressed everyone at the NFL Combine, and Panthers head coach Frank Reich has a tough decision to make ahead of the draft. Although the Panthers have already lost star receiver D.J. Moore in a trade with the Bears, they will expect Hayden Hurst to form a partnership with whichever quarterback they draft.
Hurst did a good job replacing C.J. Uzomah in Cincinnati, but what he will do in Carolina remains to be seen. Last season, the Bengals boasted one of the league's top offenses, and playing alongside far less talented players next season will undoubtedly be a challenge for the 29-year-old tight end.
