NFL fans believe Odell Beckham Jr. should retire after he and the Miami Dolphins mutually agreed to part ways. Beckham Jr. signed a one-year $3,000,000 deal with the Dolphins before the start of this season.

Beckham Jr. had a minimal role with the Dolphins offense. The wide receiver had just nine receptions for 55 yards. Following the 32-year-old parting ways with the Dolphins, NFL fans believe he should retire.

Beckham Jr. is hoping to sign with a team for a playoff run and have a bigger role.

"Not surprised, he had a few decent third down conversations but was quiet otherwise including some dropped passes," a fan added.
"At this point he getting passed around, he should retire," a fan wrote.

Beckham Jr. was selected 12th overall in the 2014 NFL draft by the New York Giants.

Fans believe Beckham Jr. should retire, but all signs point to the receiver likely latching on to a playoff contender for the remainder of the season.

Dolphins coach thought Odell Beckham Jr. could help the team

Odell Beckham Jr</a>. was supposed to be a third receiving option behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

However, Beckham Jr. didn't have much of a role, but in October, Mike McDaniel thought the receiver was going to be a big part of the offense.

"I think it was a step in the right direction, albeit, the box score doesn’t really assess that," McDaniel said of Beckham, via Yahoo.
"From our standpoint from the way we look at offense and the way we look at doing our jobs, I thought he did a good job with the opportunities he had, and we’ll continue to push that envelope because we’re trying to max out what type of football team we are and we know he can help us."

Unfortnately, Odell Beckham Jr. didn't get targeted all that much or have an impact on the Dolphins' offense. With Miami likely out of the playoff picture, Beckham Jr. is now hoping to latch on to a new team and potentially win a Super Bowl.
