Running back Phillip Lindsay was an undrafted rookie free agent out of Colorado who signed with the Denver Broncos in 2018. He played in the NFL until 2022, spending time with the Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts after three seasons in Denver.
While he remains unsigned by an NFL team this offseason, Lindsay will continue his pro football journey. Lindsay has agreed to terms with the XFL's Seattle Sea Dragons.
Lindsay signed with Seattle on Saturday, and the Sea Dragons have introduced the former NFL running back.

XFL owner, The Rock, is excited to welcome Lindsay to the XFL, tweeting:

The Sea Dragons (5-2) have won five in a row after losing their first two games of the season.
Phillip Lindsay had a remarkable first two seasons in the NFL
Phillip Lindsay was an undrafted free agent in 2018 who came out of nowhere. As a rookie, Lindsay rushed for 1,037 yards while scoring nine touchdowns and averaging 5.4 yards per carry. He also added 35 catches for 241 yards and a touchdown. He was named to the Pro Bowl as a rookie.
He followed up with an impressive sophomore campaign as he rushed for 1,011 yards and seven touchdowns while catching the ball 35 times for 196 yards.
In his third season in the NFL, Lindsay saw a drop in production due to injuries. He rushed 118 times for 502 yards and one touchdown.
Lindsay played 14 games in 2021 with the Texans and Dolphins and was a part of the Colts' practice squad in 2022.
