The Philadelphia Eagles rallied to a 28-23 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. Despite the win, many fans believe that the game shouldn't have been that close, and Eagles supporters blamed Nick Sirianni for it.

After the game, Philly supporter and SportsCenter anchor Kevin Negandhi took to X to say that he didn't think Sirianni's coaching won the game, but his players' skills did.

"The Eagles' talent won that game. They bailed out the head coach. I’ve asked this for months: Where does Nick Sirianni make this team better? His decisions are George Costanza-esque. Just do the opposite. His decisions are holding this team back from being a serious contender," -Negandhi posted.

Sirianni's aggressive style has drawn continuous criticism, particularly from fans on social media. While this can occasionally benefit a coach and make him appear brilliant, it can also backfire on the team.

Despite winning yesterday's game, the Eagles' performance was tainted by some interesting choices made by the Eagles' coach that converted a game that was heading toward being a rout into a close contest.

In one of his posts on X, Neghandi gave a summary of Sirianni's errors:

Jacksonville trimmed the deficit to just six points in the third quarter after the Eagles had a 22-0 lead. Sirianni squandered opportunities to score easy points, but he and his team held on for the win.

Since their Week 5 bye, the Eagles have settled into a rhythm, and their four-game winning streak has propelled them to second place in the NFC East standings, only behind the Washington Commanders.

What is Nick Sirianni's record with the Philadelphia Eagles?

The Eagles replaced Doug Pederson with Nick Sirianni as head coach in January 2021. Sirianni now has a 40-19 record in just over three seasons, including Sunday's victory.

Among the highlights of his time in Philadelphia were his appearance in the 2022 Super Bowl and his Maxwell Club NFL Coach of the Year honor. However, there have also been setbacks, such as the team's second half slump last season and the wild card loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 2022 season is still Nick Sirianni's best campaign to date, as he guided the Eagles to a 14-3 record and reached the Super Bowl, despite losing to the Kansas City Chiefs, 38-35.
