The Cincinnati Bengals will head into a crucial phase of the NFL season without one of their best offensive outlets - Ja'Marr Chase. The receiver is currently suffering from a hip injury and is expected to be ruled out for multiple weeks.

Chase has been battling a hip injury since Week 6 but appeared to re-aggravate the issue against the Atlanta Falcons last weekend. The Bengals are now likely to place him on their injured reserve list.

According to reports, Ja'Marr Chase has been struggling with soreness in his hip for the past week. The 22-year-old hasn't been able to train with the team as well. Although it is believed that Chase will not require surgery on his hip, the injury is set to keep him sidelined for four to six weeks. He is expected to be ruled out for the Bengals' Week 8 game against the Cleveland Browns on Monday.

If Chase is out for four weeks, the earliest that he can return to action would be the when the Bengals host the Kansas City Chiefs on December 5. Nonetheless, Cincinnati will be hoping that their star receiver returns to action sooner rather than later.
