Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry has amassed 8,335 rushing yards in his NFL career.
The Alabama Crimson Tide alum came into the National Football League in 2016 and has been tearing it up since then. Henry is arguably one of the greatest modern players from the Crimson Tide talent factory, and NFL defenses are yet to find a suitable answer to his rushing prowess.
Derrick Henry was selected by the Tennessee Titans as the 45th overall pick of the 2016 NFL draft, right out of the University of Alabama. Henry was initially expected to be a first-round pick coming into the draft, but he surprisingly fell into the second round. That gave the Titans a chance to select him, and he has been a vital component of the team since then.

Is Derrick Henry the best running back in NFL?
Arguably yes. Since being drafted into the NFL, Derrick Henry has been the best and most productive running back in the National Football League.
Since his rookie season, no backfield player has scored more rushing touchdowns and put up more rushing yards than the Crimson Tide alum. He has also made the Pro Bowl three times since becoming the undisputed starter at Tennessee. Henry is one of the most feared players in the league, thanks to his speed, strength, and all-around ability to bulldoze his way through experienced defenders.
Of course, an argument can be made for Austin Ekeler, Christian McCaffrey, Tony Pollard and even Josh Jacobs. However, no running back has been this good for this long since Marshawn Lynch of the Seattle Seahawks' glory days. There's just something about King Henry that makes defenses quiver, and he still has that fear factor seven years after he was drafted. Also, Henry is the only player to put up three 1,500+ rushing yards in the last four seasons.
His NFL records include but aren't limited to being the first player to record 200-plus yards and four-plus touchdown game on fewer than 22 carries, the first player in league history with 180-plus rushing yards in three consecutive games, and the first to have 180+ rushing yards in consecutive playoff games. Trust us, there's more where that came from.
Derrick Henry's Career Stats

The 2020 NFL Offensive Player of the Year has put up a career stat line of 8,335 rushing yards and 78 touchdowns in 102 games. He has also added 1,244 receiving yards and three touchdowns in the air. He's coming off yet another elite season, with the Titans player earning his third Pro Bowl selection.
