The AGA, a group that advocates for betting regulation, issues its yearly projections just before the Super Bowl. The data for this year indicates growth in gambling, both on the legitimate and illegitimate sides of the sector, and a rise in the overall volume of bets and bookies.
The AGA found that almost 30 million Americans will use a bookmaker, a retail sportsbook or the internet to make a traditional sports wager.
