This season, the Denver Broncos are looking to identify their future quarterback. Denver fans will have additional opportunities to witness Nix in action next week as he has been selected as the starter for the second preseason game.

Anthony Richardson, whom the Colts selected in the first round of the 2023 draft, will also return to action on Sunday. Steichen announced on Friday that he will give playing time to most of the team's key players against the Broncos. Richardson has not participated in any games since suffering a season-ending shoulder injury against the Tennessee Titans in Week 5 of the 2023 campaign. However, he may be involved minimally today.
