Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen divorced earlier this year. Often seen as the NFL's power couple, their separation raised a lot of questions amongst fans. However, one cannot take away all the years Brady and Bundchen were together.
Having met in 2006, Brady and Bundchen tied the knot in 2009. Of course, it was impossible to dodge a question or two about one's personal life. This included appearances on TV shows and events, where they would either mention or arrive with each other.
Unfortunately, not all the comments were positive. Considering his popularity, haters and trolls were no surprise. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2021, Brady ended up reading mean tweets sent his way.

While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB had witty responses to most of them, he evaded Gisele's tweet with no comment. Though it could have been an uncomfortable statement for Tom Brady, one could have expected some response from him.
"Fu** you Tom Brady I hope this loss depresses you so bad that you can hardly have sex with your supermodel wife in your giant mansion," the tweet read.
Brady responded:
"I have no comment to that."
He quickly moved on to another tweet, which was probably not related to his then-wife in any way. Some trolls were downright mean, hoping that his dog would eat chocolate and get sick.
"I hate Tom Brady so much, but I have no legit reason to. He's a nice guy, BUT I HOPE THEY BREAK HIS LEGS," read another tweet.
While fans obviously root for their team and against their rivals, sometimes (as seen above) the tribalism of the NFL can get a bit out of hand.
Tom Brady is slowly trying to move on from Gisele Bundchen
Even though their divorce was mutual and amicable, breaking a decade-long bond is always tough. Brady recently spent Christmas on the field without his family or children. It was, overall, a new experience for the superstar.
While on the "Let's Go!" podcast, Brady shared shed some light into how he is dealing with the new changes:
"A lot of them are very personal that I really don't care to share, I really don't... We all have physical, mental, emotional aspects to us that are challenged. Some years you are challenged a little more physically and you gotta overcome adversities physically."
On a more professional note, Brady and the Buccaneers are headed to the playoffs. They welcomed the new year with a win against the Carolina Panthers, and will look forward to ending the season on a high note.
