Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has recently slimmed down to around 200 pounds. Jackson has lost nearly 25 pounds since the 2022 season when he bulked up and weighed about 220 pounds.
He is listed as 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds on the Ravens' team website. Jackson's reason for cutting weight recently has to do with his physical stature. The two-time MVP said he saw a clip of himself against the Cleveland Browns and thought he looked "fat."
Jackson had a one-on-one interview with CBS reporter Jonathan Jones about losing weight and how he feels he can benefit from it.
Here is their back-and-forth about Jackons's recent weight loss:

Jackson: I was fat to me. I felt like I was fat. I just saw a video from two years ago out of the Browns, and I looked it like out of shape.
Jones: Did you feel slower? Do you? Did you think that you look slower?
Jackson: Oh, my eyes might be deceiving me, but I believe I looked a little slower to me, but not now.
Jones: For speed element?
Jackson: Just like moving around without getting fatigued, that's all. I don't know if I was getting fatigued last year, probably if I get a first down. But I don't like getting caught if I do decide to run. So, yeah, it's part of it.
Jones: Age could also be a factor
Jackson: Not at all. No, I'm only 27, I'm still young. Definitely don't have anything to do with age.
Has Lamar Jackson ever made it to the Super Bowl?
Lamar Jackson has been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL since entering the league in 2018. He's won two league MVPs, been to the postseason five times in his career, and he's become arguably the greatest dual-threat quarterback in the NFL.
In six regular seasons, he's put together a 58-19 record one of the best win-percentage records by any quarterback in NFL history. He's been named a Pro Bowler three times and an All-Pro twice.
Lamar Jackson has had success in the NFL, but he's never reached the big game. Jackson lost his first two postseason games in 2018 and 2019, before earning his first playoff win in 2020. The Ravens defeated the Tennessee Titans but fell to the Buffalo Bills in the second round.
The Ravens missed the playoffs in 2021 and Jackson was inactive for the 2022 postseason. This past season, the Ravens had a first-round bye as the No. 1 seed in the AFC and earned a playoff victory against the Houston Texans before falling to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.
This season, the Ravens and Lamar Jackson open up on the road against the Chiefs.
