"I would like to stand between the paws of the Sphinx" - Aaron Rodgers once revealed his wild retirement plans on ex-gf Danica Patrick's podcast

Back in 2019, Aaron Rodgers dated race car driver Danica Patrick. Both athletes were often seen accompanying each other to official events and on adventurous holidays. In fact, the Green Bay Packers star even appeared on Patrick's podcast, "Pretty Intense."

During the podcast, the former couple discussed several interesting topics.

One of the topics that came up was Rodgers' retirement plan. The QB is already at the tail-end of his career and has established himself as one of the NFL's best. With each season, there is increasing discourse about Rodgers' retirement.

Danica asked about the three things he wanted to do after retirement. Rodgers promptly gave two answers -- skiing and skydiving. What one probably wouldn't have expected was Rodgers' third answer, which was his wish to visit Egypt.

“Before I die, I would like to stand between the paws of the Sphinx," Rodgers said.

He added that he had also been planning to go to Egypt for, at least, five years.

While they discussed more lighthearted topics, Aaron Rodgers and Patrick also discussed their relationship a little. Apparently, Patrick was the "steady" person in Rodgers' life back then:

“From an emotional standpoint,” Rodgers said. “I think you’re a very steady person, so that’s been nice to have a steady energy. Energetically, I think you have a steadiness about you. You know who you are and that brings even more calm to the house, which you know me, I’m always about calm and energetic cohesiveness and peace."

Following his relationship with Danica, Aaron Rodgers dated (and later became engaged to) actress Shailene Woodley. However, the two broke up a few months after announcing their engagement.

Considering he was with Woodley right after he ended things with Patrick, they dated for around two years before finally calling it quits.

Following his breakup with Woodley, Rodgers has been linked to a woman called "Blu of Earth." The rumored couple was seen together while on a getaway and have been linked by many people online.

However, neither Rodgers nor Blu of Earth have taken any steps to confirm or deny their relationship. The 39-year-old was even questioned about his recent tattoo. Apparently, the abstract ink is similar to one of his rumored girlfriend's tattoos.

While Rodgers did explain the meaning behind his tattoo, he did not link it to Blu of Earth in any way.
