Jahmyr Gibbs ended the season in great shape for the Detroit Lions. The running back scored four touchdowns in the Week 18 game against the Minnesota Vikings, where the Lions clinched the NFC North. In the Divisional Round against the Washington Commanders, he scored two more, albeit in a shock loss.
After one of his touchdowns, Gibbs celebrated in a specific way. He hit the dance move popularized by basketball superstar Kevin Durant, a popular fan of the Washington Commanders, as the Lions opened up the score in the NFC Divisional Round game.
After seeing the running back doing his dance, Durant, whose team had no NBA games on Saturday, took to X to express his displeasure about the running back's celebration.

Although it felt like a light-hearted joke, to see his traditional move done after a touchdown against his favorite team was not a great feeling:
"I'm already sick of Jahmyr. Move around somewhere bro damn."
Six touchdowns in the final two games of the season were a great mark for Gibbs, who led the league with 20 touchdowns during the regular season. However, in a shocking turn of events, it would be the final game of the year where he would score.
Despite Jahmyr Gibbs heroics, Commanders shock Lions in Divisional Round
For the second straight week, Jayden Daniels' team produced a huge upset in the NFC playoffs. This time, they faced the No. 1 seed in the conference; even with the Detroit Lions coming from a bye week, they pulled off a 45-31 victory.
Jahmyr Gibbs finished the game with 105 rushing yards, 70 receiving yards and two touchdowns. However, quarterback Jared Goff threw three interceptions and suffered another fumble, but the Commanders were unfazed by the situation. Daniels, the rookie quarterback, threw for 299 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions.
With the victory, the Commanders reached their first NFC Championship appearance since 1991, when they won the Super Bowl. As for the Lions, a season of dreams and hope, with a 15-2 record in the regular season, ended abruptly in an unexpected way.
