Lamar Jackson has been locked into a struggle with the Baltimore Ravens for multiple seasons at this point. After such a long, drawn-out battle of attrition, fans and pundits are eager for a conclusion to the storyline. Speaking on "First Take," NFL analyst Stephen A. Smith pushed the team to make an offseason-defining trade in the vein of Russell Wilson. Here's how he put it:
"I'm acknowledging and recognizing the greatness of him. But his durability being the question mark combined with the money he wants that you as an organization are obviously hesitant to give him all of those things aligned with one another."
Will the Ravens quarterback be traded in the coming weeks or months?

He continued, outlining the scope of what he would like to see done:
"I would strongly look into what assets I can get for Lamar Jackson because I could get the house for this brother. I'm talking about multiple first-round picks, multiple players, because what he brings to the table is that lead to that big time, that significant."
Lamar Jackson has missed the end of the season in each of the past two seasons, damaging his contract leverage in the eyes of many. However, when healthy, the Ravens have been one of the top teams in the AFC. If a trade was made, many would wonder where the Ravens would go from there.
Most would agree that the ongoing playoffs could be a big catalyst. If the team wins the Super Bowl without Jackson, the contract negotiation dynamic could change in a big way.
What would Ravens QB Lamar Jackson's legacy look like if he were traded?
If the quarterback of the Ravens lands with a new team this offseason, it would, of course, end his time with the team. Since his drafting in 2018, he has played in 70 games and started 61 of them. In those games, he has gone 45-16. Through the air, he's scored 101 touchdowns and thrown 38 interceptions.
Of course, the quarterback is best known for his speed, ability to stretch the field and the definition of what a quarterback can do on the ground. Since 2018, he's rushed for at least 1,000 yards twice and at least 695 yards each season. Often described as a modern-day Michael Vick, the quarterback started hot in his first three seasons, helping his team get to three consecutive playoff games.
